What would you like to change?
Change, without it, the world as we know it would simply not exist. Progress has shaped our lives from day one. At times it can be difficult – we make false starts, we take wrong turns, but change also marks moments of great pride, jubilation and triumph. The building of the pyramids, landing on the moon, the brand spanking new i-phone sitting next to you, yes we all see the power of change, and yet we're not always sure how to achieve it.
It only takes a quick glance at man's most successful achievements to realise that change happens when people are united. Put people together and we begin to question - what's possible? How could this be better? Is Elvis really dead?
The world wide web, social media and other new technologies mean we are no longer just passive consumers of information and recipients of change, we have the opportunity to influence and create it. Where once newspaper and television translated the voice of the few to many, now the voice of many has the ability to influence in ways previously beyond imagination.
We can all play a part in creating our future. We can shape change in a way that will bring positive consequences for our families, colleagues, our society and each other. You can see from the wide range of responses on this website how powerful we can be. By asking the question "what would you like to change?", together we can open the door to new possibilities, and change can happen.
